With E3 over now the two girls take a look at some of their favorite titles revealed in the big announcements, both indie and otherwise. The adventure game giveaway announced in last week’s episode comes to an end with more discussion about a few new adventure titles that have been released this week, including the new Jolly Rover adventure game by Andrew Goulding that was chosen as our One Game Pick. This week is all about adventure games, with the girls exploring Erin Robinson’s newest creation, Puzzle Bots, as well as a few other top notch adventure games that have been released recently. In addition to great adventure games, the girls take a look at some of the great games that have been released on Steam since their hiatus, with several that are definitely worth purchasing.

We’re back after taking a break for zombie Jesus Day and Overlord Ror hurdling headlong toward the grave another year at a time, this time to discuss a great  mixture of games and even one sent in from a fan! Thanks, Mumbles! The Indie Fund has been looming over our heads since it was announced shortly before IGF, with many people wondering exactly what it is supposed to accomplish. We discuss how it is a better funding option for indies, and hopefully we’ll see a great number of indie games funded.

This week the girls have a look at several different titles that are making their way to the Xbox LIVE Arcade, including a few of the IGF finalists discussed last week. We also have a look at numerous brand new titles from Paradox Interactive, including Mount & Blade: Warband and Lead & Gold: Gangs of the Wild West. The new private beta of Desura was released and we have a look at that, with our thoughts on the interface and a bit of discussion concerning the target audience.
